Sept. 23 - First day absentee ballot applications are accepted
Oct. 5 - Last day to register to vote
Oct. 6 - First day of grace period registration and voting
Oct. 12 - First day of Early Voting
Oct. 26 - Last day of grace period registration and voting
Oct. 28 - Last day of Early Voting
Oct. 28 - Last day military and overseas voters may request an absentee ballot
Oct. 29 - In-person absentee voting begins at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office and five suburban courthouse mini-centers
Nov. 1 - Last day voted mail-in absentee ballots can be postmarked for acceptance by the Clerk's office
